I attempted to read the BDC-M and BDC-W. It backed up fine as well as other modules. After restarting the vehicle, it now only will:

Go in Neutral and Reverse
TPM monitor is error
Trunk is always open, when closed
Transmission fault, however no service needed
no interior lights, buttons work - windows roll down but not up
tried restoring backup, but it fails no matter what i do in the suggestions.

I have the cable with nic interface, i just don't know what software to use.

Please help!!!

I'll be up for a while.
What year is your M5?

I would be massively interested in VIM, enhanced blue tooth (can't get Microsoft office functions currently) and any additional lighting coding.

Does anyone know anyone that can do this remotely as I'm in UK??

There is no specific list available.

But here are the list that I can code so far.

- Disclaimer delete
- VIM
- Rear Camera Zoom
- Rolls Royce sound
- Startup in Sport mode
- Anti-Dazzle headlight
- Enhanced Bluetooth
- Open and Close trunk with Keyfob or Inside button
- Seatbelt warning
- Door windows interruptions during open and close door

I am still trying to find more.
If you need coding, I can do it remotely too.

Edit: removed the fog light coding since F90 M5 don't have fog lights.

I am waiting for Carly to enable coding on the LCi F90, so I can activate SMS on the move, turn disclaimer off and it would be nice to have phone mirroring on the move.

They don't have any features like this from what I can see yet.

HU_NBT2 can be coded to ID4 or ID5/ID6, but need separate FSC codes.

HU_MGU can be coded to ID5++, ID6_light, ID7, or ID8.

So, you would need to upgrade hardware to get ID7.

Yes. Even though I never use, why do you want to disable?

Qi/wireless charging is really bad for the battery. More cycles, more heat. I want to be able to use the compartment without it trying to charge my phone.

Has coding changed much for the LCI versus pre-LCI? I'm still learning my new LCI, but it seems like some stuff has been improved to the point of not needing coding (i.e.: loading screen is much faster and less annoying, auto cruise control defaults to closest setting or stays there, auto high beams stay on).

What are the main things people are coding in the LCI?

So far, my wants would be:

-Reduce side mirror tilt in reverse
-Video in Motion
-Different colors for interior LED's (why can't red be a default?? It blinks red when the door is left open

I've removed that feature as it was unsightly.

I've coded:
No more seat belt chime at ignition (still chimes when it reaches distance. Just not right at start up)
-window rolling up/down interruption
A couple of other minor details

The LCI comes with a nice selection of ambient lighting. I do wish there were more codes updated as time went on. I had loads more fun with BimmerCode on my previous cars.

Unfortunately, I was unable to disable the wireless charging by setting:

BDC -> WcaWirelessChargingAblage-> WCA_ENABLE -> nicht aktiv

Makes me think I need to find an NFC-only part and replace the part.

There are additional driver assist functions like Traffic light recognition, speed limit assist, etc.

I tried to PM you, but your inbox was full.

Do you have a comprehensive list of what can be coded?

Very valid reason. You could either VO code or FDL code to disable.
