Always OE (i.e., star marked) summer tires (PS4S). I take some deviation liberties with winter tires (Pirelli SottoZero 3 in OE sizes on 706Ms, purchased from Tire Rack, shipped directly to dealership and installed by them). They’re one load rating and one speed rating lower than star marked summer PS4S. Fine for winter, but I don’t play around with summers.

Because that sounds ridiculous i understand if you run to much of a wrong circumference front to back but not i if it’s star marked tire or not.
I have actually heard this been said before from a tire dealer but don’t believe it one bit.

I simply believe that they know that the transfer case is a weak point.
Regarding the warranty: it is in French. I do suggest that you make a search on the Bmw swedisch site. It is i found it
