Very small chip on hood. Too late for clear bra?
I have a very small chip on the front hood. For those of you who like the clear bra idea, would you still have one done?
If so, should I repair/seal the small chip before putting the clear bra on?

I had a small chip and just dabbed some touch up in it before the clear bra went on.

+1 Clear bra will seal it closed. I actually have a pretty good size gash from a rock during ED. I touched it up and then did a really bad job of clear coat. Clear coat is more obvious than the scratch.

I'll add to the consensus here and say to fix it before the clear bra goes on. If it bothers you now it'll really bother you when it's sealed underneath.

It's probably too late to tell you this, but your dealer can take care of any ED damage. Mine did - although I did point out that this was probably done by the Harms driver. The car was signed off as perfect at the drop off point.

Yes I did actually know this and they were willing to do it. The problem was that they wanted to repaint almost the entire hood! I figured having a hood that didn't match orange peel was not as good as just having a little spot that only I was going to look at. It was probably 6 to one half a dozen to the other but that's how I went.
