Even for a comp, that seems high for a 2019. You should be able to negotiate a huge amount off that msrp before getting into lease terms.
What're you talking about lol.... even in a state like NY with a high tax rate.. this would equate to 12.5% off MSRP before rebates (lease and loyalty)... this is a great deal lol...

Can there be some more wiggle room? Sure if the dealer is desperate to move it but anyone getting 12.5 off plus rebates is getting a great deal. You're crazy.

If 1300, no money down, this is a fantastic deal for an MSRP of 130k.

Confused though.. you said “2019 Comp”. Then you ask “is it worth paying this premium for a non-comp?”

Got another quote from a different dealer for ordering a 2020 M5.

MSRP = 123,245

Discount = 3,395

Net = 119,850

36 Months @ 12k miles

Residual = 70,249.65

$4000 due at signing

$1698.85 per month

So it's $2000 more due at signing, and only $35 less per month than the quote from the first dealer.

I'm looking for a sick deal on a 19 comp lease. If anyone knows of anything or anyone out there I should connect with that would be solid.

Your running out of time for a great deal. I would start with th auto trader and filter only 2019 and start calling. Cut the bs and tell each dealer what you want. I would start at atleast 10 percent off plus incentives and if any dealer is willing to give that off the bat they will be willing to deal with you.
Work the deal from there.

Despite what everyone is saying with the huge discounts they are rare and take time to get.

I would target 12-13 percent off plus incentives and if you can buy rate on the money factor

But there is a stop sale on most m5’s right now. You might not be able to drive off till next year.

Just closed on a 2019 M5 in alpine white.....

$113,895 MSRP.....was $101,505 after discounts (but before the $4500 in incentives offered on the 19 M5 in December).

I emailed a few dealers with leftover 19's from like $105k-118k and a few offered 10% before incentives but no more (and many would not even do 10% off).

Anyways, went with a 24 month, 10k mile lease.......used MSDs, base MF of .00128 before MSDs. Will also be getting $1,000 BMWCCA rebate check.

Factoring the BMWCCA refund in....I am at like $1161 month or so after 5.5% Wisconsin tax. Not bad, was paying $972 for my M550i lease that is up in 2 months....

emailed every single dealer on cars.com today - most of them have responded with 1600/month for 12k per year on 118kish msrp's - best I got was 1550/month on a 121k msrp - would love to know how you guys are pulling 1200 payments because I will sign the papers today lol

Best deal I have been offered thus far:

"MSRP 118050
Your price 105774.
Savings 12276 off
36mo/12k/1258 mo plus tax

first months payment oop"

The dealer I visited today had 4 M5 on the lot but 2 of them were on sale hold due to recalls. They were not allowed to sell them. So it's definitely an issue to be on the lookout for people seeking deals on current inventory.

That’s really not too bad. Could probably negotiate a bit more. But solid job cold calling. That’s exactly what I did to get my deal.

Definitely not too bad - dealer was super cool no BS. Had another dealer offer me a 120k msrp for $20/month more - both were black/black.

2020 Comp

$123,055 MSRP
$113,055 sale price
36/10
$1,570/mo (inclusive of 6% tax)
0.00168 MF

Seems like I should work on getting sale price and MF down?

Dealer is also asking for $1500 in mystery fees in addition to first month payment down.

8.1% off MSRP isn’t too bad. Shoot for 10-12. MF should be .00128.

While the M5 has always been on my bucket list, I never thought I'd be getting one anytime soon lol Former M4 owner and happy to be back in the BMW family

2019 M5 Comp
MSRP: $118,xxx
Price after discount and $2500 rebate - $103,695
Residual: $69,649.50
36/12k
First months OOP
$1,194.00 + tax (this included them rolling $1,000 worth of shipping into the price)

I probably could have squeezed a little more, but since the 2019's were few and far between, I decided to jump on it. Car will be delivered later this week!

That is a good start for the negotiations. I would push for that price prior to incentives and then work on the MF. For $118K a payment of around $1075 would be a great deal. At $1258 they are marking the MF way up.

you are lucky you didn't buy it... what went from a great dealership experience has quickly turned into one of the worst - you were sparred, and you got a better deal elsewhere
