my guess is i should be able to pick it up monday or tuesday to take to get XPEL. I told dealer to just leave all the plastic in place, so the initial pickup will be less than dramatic. heh

So when you ask dealer to keep the plastics on, what does that mean? They leave all the foam and transport tape on there?

yes afaik. I told them to do a minimal amount of processing on the exterior such as no waxing or washing or anything like that because it's that much less work the film guys have to do once they get ahold of it. I mentioned if they can leave the plastic on the car so be it, which I I would assume is that white plastic looking film.

if there's any kind of inspection the dealer has to do or whatever, they can do that. I'm not so much concerned about the foam but as much of the plastic I can keep on the front of it the better

I have a 200 mile from the dealer so keeping the plastic film on there intrigues me. I was thinking of putting trakktape on for my drive home.

I'm wondering, is anyone planning to replace the orange front reflectors with the IND painted reflectors? Do you think it will be the same size as the pre LCI?

My guy who mainly does customs wraps, just tints front and rear. $75. Looks just as good and can easily be removed if needed. Takes him about 15 minutes for all four.
