Finally made the purchase...

2011 328 xDrive, Premium, Convenience, Value.

It'll be my wife's daily driver. Sorry, not the best pic but you get the idea. Sweet ride...better than my E46 M3 Cab? Nah

Questions:
1) Whats the largest tire size I can put on the OEM 17s? I think its wearing 225-45-17 run flat rubber
2) I'd like to carry my dog in the back - is there a cargo liner that goes higher to the side? He is a lab and tends to shed a lot.

The car has the OEM 17 inch rims with 225-45-17 tires.

Do you think I can go with 255-40-17 tires?

Regardless of the negative comments...if you get your wife in a "somewhat" sporty bimmer so that when you have to drive her ride to family events you're doing a THOUSAND times better than those who are stuck riding in their wife's Caravan to the next family reunion!
Good luck!

Thanks guys! She didn't want a big SUV but we need the room to haul our dogs.
It maneuvers around town really well and is a good fit for our garage too. :-)

Nice wagon. We just picked up a 2011 328iT 6 spd w/ ZSP. After 5k miles, love it.

As for the pups, this might help:

Absolutely! The saddest thing I see is some poor guy riding shotgun in the minivan with his wife driving.

Nice! We may look into that. MSRP is $320 from BMW - I wonder where I can find a better price??

It would be cool if there was something like that for the cargo area.
