Road Trip
Just completed a road trip from central KY to Gulf Shores, NOLA and back. This is my second, and the longest (at 1,400 miles or so) road trip in the car, which now has about 3,400 miles and is two weeks shy of one year old.
Really, it is just what I wanted to be in for a long drive. Roomy, comfortable and fast enough when needed to get through or around traffic. Killed several dozen bugs but they rinsed right off of the ceramic coating. Will give it a proper wash this weekend. The ride was firm, noticeable on poorer roads, but not harsh. Longest drive was 8 hours - I could have done another 4 or so but my wife had passenger fatigue. I traded an M3 (F80) for this, because this is my primary use for the car, and couldn’t be happier with the switch. 2018 F90 M5 (non-comp) |

I did a 10 hour drive to and from NC a few weeks back in the M5, then the same trip in our Sienna. The M5 was more fun, more comfortable, more enjoyable. LOL. But I still got the Sienna into double digits to pass slow pokes. LOL.

I just did 13 hrs in my m5comp, it was a joy. Audio book made the biggest impact. And we also have an odyssey elite, great car too.
