Downpipe options; Both dp for only $598?

Hey guys,
So I ve been shopping around for decent downpipes. I want to run primary catted+secondary catless cause I don't want too much raspy sound. So far it seems Armytrix and Evolution Racewerks are within the budget i m willing to spend. Then some one told me Mad-Us selling both downpipes for just $598. That price seems too good to be true so I m worried about the quality and result it delivers. Here's the link
https://mad-us.com/mad-bmw-f90-m5-downpipes-s63r/
Has anybody tried their product before? Will primary catted lose a lot of power compared to catless? Any insight shared would be much appreciated.

They look like the eBay ones from plm manufacturing that I put on my car. Which I’ve had good success with. They use stock mounting brackets/points and have the wire mesh for added support which is more than some of the more expensive brands can say. I vote go for it.

Can’t beat the price and all reports are they fit fine. I installed MAD primaries to CTS secondaries without issue. I know of another member who installed MAD secondaries to FI primaries. And there are others who reported no issues with MAD pipes.

I'm getting MAD secondaries installed tomorrow and I can let you know. The build quality looks great, I'm really happy I gave them a shot. I was about to go with ERs.

I have the secondaries installed. Quality looked good and no issues so far. Sounds a lot better than stock. Not sure what the big pricing difference could be from welded piping.

If they fit and have solid welds, not much more to ask for for short runs of piping. All the others are just assuming you have a M5 so you have tons of money to throw around. Vendors charging 50% of a catback have to have insane margins, especially with the tech that's out nowadays. You can 3D scan anything on the car and all dimensions, etc. are instantly available.

You'd expect with "R&D" times fractions of what they used to be that cost would be driven down, not the case.

Kinda like a turbo kit for an R8 or something- very little piping, etc. and cost $50k. SMH.

Just got secondaries installed today. Love the sound and a noticeable increase in low end power!

No, we have had no issues with the length of our secondaries. Do you have stock primaries?

Has the shop installed F90 downpipes before?

Looks like it was shop error on the initial install. The length turned out to be fine. The rattling issue turned out to be weak welds on the MAD emblems. Causing them to vibrate into the downpipes. Thanks for your response!

Sorry for my ignorance. But is there much difference in sound with just secondary or primary versus both together? Just sold my E63s ED1 and am looking for a nice F90 M5. Am lurking around for what to do tuning wise.

I have the Mad secondaries. No primaries or exhaust yet. Sound is noticeablely louder and deeper which is awesome. However, my dragy 1/4 times are a tad bit slower with just these in and I have Racechip. Maybe with the primaries to complement it, it should be better. I don't mind the small drop in 1/4 times since I'm not always racing. But I'm I'm always driving so I like the deep sound and you can't beat the price.
