Thoughts on CS EDC coding on HAS kit?

It seems like per the posts the HAS kit runs a little bit stiffer about 15% springs to the zcp? People are posting improvements running CS tune on ZCP. Worthwhile on the HAS kit then? Anyone have first hand experience of difference or thoughts running CS tune on HAS kit? Thanks! I have the HAS kit and it's still too soft for my liking and almost makes me not want to take the f80 through the canyons and take the blown e92 instead. I'm going for a second dyno/coding session Wed and debating.

I got it coded. WOWOWOWOWOW. Huge difference. I wasn't happy with the M HAS kit with the tune they run. The CS tune is easily better rebounding and compression. Comfort is significantly better than sport was before! Must have!

Significantly. Compression and rebound are insanely better. Even my passenger commented on the drive to disneyland after that he could tell and it was way better.

I'm interested in this as well. Finally having the HAS installed this week and would consider the tune depending on how I like it. Going to have the GTS DCT tune done eventually, would make sense to have the done at the same time.

Who coded your car? Wondering what parameters were actually changed

I haven't had it coded yet, want to give it a few weeks at least. Plus my install didn't go as planned, dealer set it to the wrong height so I need to adjust it and have it re-aligned. I hear alex@alpine comes highly recommended for this and coding in general.

Any further thoughts on this? After I had CS EDC coded, I literally feel every road imperfection such as uneven pavement on the freeway, roads, etc. I think the aggressive compression and rebound has to do something with that feeling. It certainly feels sporty but I haven’t had a chance to give it a go on some twisty roads yet.

Despite people saying it makes a minor difference, I do think it’s a major difference in aggressiveness. Much stiffer compared to stock ZCP settings.

Anyone care to comment whether you like or dislike the CS EDC coding? At this point I’m not sure whether I like it or dislike it. I can only describe it as being much more aggressive in daily driving.

So far so good without doing iStep upgrade. Handles INSANELY better with MPHAS dropped at recommended height. 360 degree highway on ramps I could take at 56 mph I can now comfortably handle at 63 mph. That is a 12.5% increase in the speed the car can handle a turn without losing traction.

I have new iStep level but with that I have new DCT & new EDC that greatly improved over previous 242 iStep level I was on. We haven't coded CS EDC yet because I wanted to get a few hundred miles in the past week first. But that's good to hear even your handling improved.

GTS does have good coding but does not apply to EDC since the GTS rides on 3 way clubsports stock. CS EDC is all we mortals with electronic dampers have that is more aggressive than competition package EDC.

Haven't gotten to do this yet myself, but your review is how I would prefer it to be and has sold me more on the MPHAS + coding. Maybe it will feel more like my Lotus. haha

Wondering the same thing, anyone else have additional thoughts? Significant difference compared to ZCP on the twisties and/or everyday roads?

hellokitty, is your daily drive mostly city driving, and what are the quality of the roads near you? I would have some of the same concerns... my driving is a mix of highway and city, although the highway is mostly like city driving anyway and the city driving is mostly on terrible roads. Still do not have the MP HAS adjusted to my liking, will probably wait a few weeks before deciding on EDC coding anyway.

After a month+ to evaluate further, comfort is my preferred setting on the CS EDC coding. Sport is nice as well. Much more rapid damping/rebound compared to stock ZCP. Sport+ feels like driving on a knife edge and I would certainly only use sport/sport+ on a canyon run.

I drive a mix of city and highway. 10-15% terrible road conditions. Certainly tolerable. I recently upgraded to PS4S which helps add some additional comfort compared to the PSS.
