Does anybody have just the secondaries on MPE? I'm wondering how it'll sound like. Got some quotes from shops to install just the secondary dps and costing more than the DPs themselves.. Want to make sure it's well worth it

I will try to attempt to fit your secondaries first that came in Tuesday. I will install the primaries once I cop a feel of the service department and if they will void my warranty my car has only 360 miles on it. How hard is it to install secondaries only?

Secondaries will void your warranty just as much as primaries.

Depends on the tech working on the vehicle. Since you will have no cel and no tune is required to run them the tech would have to go out of his way to write up your vehicle for aftermarket parts. Still I dont think it would VOID your entire warranty that seems like a stretch. \my 2 cents

Same goes for primaries or catless both pipes. Depends on the dealer. But if there is a problem expensive enough to warrant investigation, expect problems. You are right though that the entire warranty won’t be voided — your seatbelts are totally unrelated to your engine, but plan on losing coverage for a blown motor.

Again that's a stretch a secondary only won't throw any codes and doesn't require any O2 modifications or a tune. A blown motor would never be caused by a secondary cat delete so I wouldn't even give them the chance to use that excuse. I'm all for you have to pay to play but that's extremely unrelated. Keep your factory parts.

Secondaries will not void your warranty because they will not give you check engine light because there is no oxygen sensors before and after secondary catalytic converter.

If you know your BMW techs and service advisors you won’t have any problems even with the tune.

Not what my dealer said. Relationship can get you around this but nothing really is triggered with just a secondary. However, consistent message of just don't tune the car is what is loud and clear.
