I've raced against a 2022 M8 Comp at a 1/2 mile event. (3 runs together)
He had JB4, Eventuri. I have Racechip, charcoal delete, and was on 95 octane. 2019 M5 C. I had faster trap speed on all runs. 2 of the 3 runs, I had a sizable gap by the end, like 3-4 car lengths maybe. 1 of the runs we were neck and neck, but I didn't get a perfect start on that one, but still had faster trap speed. My best was 160mph, his best was 157, and my worst was I think 157, and his worst 152. I have a crappy video of one of the runs but cant figure out how to upload it, and frankly dont care enough to figure it out LOL |

Well driver mod also has a lot to do with things as well lol, surface, tires, temps, a million different things, but from a roll, all things equal the m8 should beat out the m5 (I'm talking specifically the coupe not vert or gc) just from the weight being slightly less and it being just a tad bit more aerodynamic
