I've never leased and tend to buy it because I like the idea that it's mine. Most of the time cash but sometimes cash and loan. BMW offered cash incentives to borrow and only 2.5% interest seamed like free money. I can get 5-7% in relatively safe 3-5 year investments.
Unless you're paying for the car in full upfront, the car isn't truly yours until the loan is paid off.
