I've got a F90 Comp with the new LCD cockpit - I followed the re-pin instructions by the OP but I had the same as Whiskey and I note he has the same model car of mine. turn signals ok on the outside but the brake light blinking on the inner lights. So only one thing I don't have is the inner red lights don't react to brake pedal but that is the same behaviour as the LCI I believe.

I didn't have to do any coding, no errors, reverse lights work, fog light works; welcome lights work.

That's not a proper way for them to work, all 4 have to light up upon braking. You need to get lights coded for them to work properly.

The outers work because they're plug and play. The inners is why the wiring and coding is required. GL.

This would be the harness that comes with the Chinese knockoffs. They are plug and play and include a harness that effectively re-pins and jumps the out to inner and require no coding.

According to this vendor, they're selling OEM LCI taillights w/ necessary associated parts (which include retrofit wiring harness). If the "retrofit wiring harness" part(s) will work with OEM LCI taillights assemblies, it could avoid re-pin the wire connectors and assist many DIYers out there.

Interesting. If it adds expense, repinning and running the jump is easy enough. If this avoids coding, that's another story.

So I made a jump cable to the inner brake light from the the outer brake light. Works. No coding required on my car.

I've been reading through this DIY. I ordered Euro ones from Abdul, and I have the lights installed (pending the pins/new wire since those haven't arrived yet). In the mean time I'm trying to sort out the coding.
I saw this posted earlier, but running into some issues:

1) Update software to 03-2021
2) Add HELC to HO-WORT
3) Code BDC module
4) Make some changes manually (bimmercode can do this too):

BL_L_CCM: ccm_346 [01 5A]
BL_L_IS_LED: nicht_aktiv, default [00]
BL_L_MIN_PWM: 5% [05]
BL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_aktiv [00]
BL_R_CCM: ccm_345 [01 59]
BL_R_IS_LED: nicht_aktiv, default [00]
BL_R_MIN_PWM: 5% [05]
BL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_aktiv [00]

I know a few people who successfully did their own coding. I used Vic. I do know that there is not a one size fits all coding menu for these. Some of the tweaks vary from car to car depending on MY and software version. I suggest you get it all wired, jumped and pinned correctly and then start messing around with coding through trial and error. Vic did my coding before the install and although it was 90% functional, I did need him to go back in to tweak as just the inners were lighting up when braking.

We provide the coding to activate LCI taillight to customers that are in the same area as us, the LCI Taillight does not come precoded as the coding part is for your Car's DME to recognise LCI Taillight and to activate it to work properly.

I received a reply message via FB Messenger from this vendor this morning…was informed the "so-called" OEM retrofit wire harness (or harnesses) cannot be sold separately and it must be sold as a kit at $5800RM (apx. $1371.00 USD).

Just buy oem and repin. It's stupid easy and cheaper. I paid less than $1000 from dealer. Unless you're buying euro lights

Agreed, I was just curious what this seller was actually offering so I hit them with some Q&A, which I still don't really have any answers. I was intrigued by the wiring harness comment as were others and wondered if someone developed a harness that avoided re-pinning and coding for LCI's. Neither seem to be the case.
