2020 F90 m5 build project (Will have EVERY MOD)

picked up a 2020 f90 m5 in january black on black with no mods. only 15k miles on it.

car arrived and went straight to the shop over at Pure_performance_TX (instagram) for mods.

Started the fun with project gamma Cattless downpipes and Forged carbon fiber intakes and e30 tune. We decided to pull the motor and do some upgrades.

we decided to go with CP Forged piston and CP rods and some upgraded rod bearings and bolts and head studs custom made .

about 4 days later motor was pulled out built and installed and car being driven to put some miles on it.

oil change done to make sure all the junk in the motor is out and tuning started.

We then decided to put together a meth kit and pair the car with an AWE exhaust.

we have plans to upgrade the turbos and build the Transmission soon. But we wanted to have some fun with the car.

Dropped off car and got it wrapped shortly after.

I'm going to attach some pictures and add more to this post as we build it more.

Pure performance in Houston? I'm secretly hoping to bend a rod so I can swap the bottom end out for better stuff and go for big power. Do you mind sharing how much they charged to pull the motor and install the pistons and rods?

You should do it before bending a rod. I see a few who throw a rod out of the block and that gets EXPENSIVE .

Dm them directly for pricing . Price could have changed since January

@ONE_slow_m5 what has been your experience with your F90 after the engine rebuild? With the forged internals, car must be a predator on the Houston streets.

The car gets abused in every gear including reverse . Not once did it get a check engine light . Even put it on Dyno made 866whp / 917 wtq

I don't see it in their catalogue.
