What "antique" do you have in your stable?!

So funny, cause at 50, I grew up w/ the assumption of an antique being a Model T! Can't recall when a 25 yr old car was considered antique, but here's mine. 1984 Porsche 911 Targa w/ 83k on the clock.

I already posted in your other thread haha, but I'll post here with more details.

My antique is a BMW 1991 850i V12, around 80k miles, Auto, Japanese import to Canada.

Exterior paint has blemishes and fading on the roof and trunk, a result of Acid rains in Japan. The trade off, is that the body underneath is immaculate, and is main reason that I kept it when these were very underrated and at the bottom of their value.

Now more and more people are looking for these, but good examples are hard to find.

Ha! Yes and I complimented it in the other thread. One of my favorite cars, I remember my Father's friend had a new on in dark green metallic, was gorgeous. I assume you plan on restoring the paint? I'd get it corrected, wrapped and then ceramic her. I did this to my 458 and you can literally dive into the paint!

I had a 1994 325is that as special ordered by someone for his daughter who decided on the benz instead, so I got it, it was special order paint in Smoke Metallic Grey an 850i only color. was a nice 3 series. I love the 850 v12 but I would be hesitant to own one without a warrantee LOL.

My antique is a 1971 Detomaso Pantera with 38,000 miles. She still looks great at 49 years old.

That's a sweet car! I also miss the art museum! I used to live on the east side and would go there often.

A yellow 72 Pantera just crossed the block at Barrett-Jackson for $59k. Red 72 crossed earlier for $75k.

Not quite an antique but this is probably my favourite of our older collection.
