Congrats on the new daily! Car looks great!! Love seeing the Rahal license plate holder! Grew up in Pittsburgh, now living in LA. Recently grabbed a 2018 F90 that was turned in off a 6 month lease with 7k miles. Excited to see what we can do with this bad boy...

Just did my first weekend trip in the car, it's insanely fast above 100 mph. It pulls hard to 150 mph. Almost scary so. Far quicker than my NSX above 120 mph. I've driven a lot of cars that pull hard to 100 mph and the acceleration tails off, but the M5 is an entirely different animal.

Can someone comment regarding the fans cooking the engine so often? Is the engine generating more heat than it should or cooling system can’t keep up or what’s the deal?

Common with modern turbo engines. My Audi S6 had fans running after shutdown, even on short trips.

So far, I have noticed that the fan does run for a bit after engine shutdown, but nothing crazy—maybe 5, 10 minutes or so. I will say this, though. Don’t touch ANYTHING under the hood, immediately after shutdown, even some of that plastic stuff in there! There is some major heat.
