Hmmm - next time your camera is handy, it'd be great if you could snap some pics from an angle showing they don't protrude...that might help me make up my mind.

I love it when my my snout is too long.
Vic - so what is the smallest spacer you can run on the rear? I'm looking for something less than 10mm as I don't want the rear wheels protruding out as much.
Run by me your situation.
I got all the data on F90 M5 wheel setup, maybe I can help you.

2019 M5 Comp. Ideally would like to run something less than 10mm spacers in the back. 13mm or so in the front. Trying to figure out rear wheel options on the spacers. All the pics I've seen of 10mm or greater seem to suggest the rear wheels stick out past the rear fenders.

Are you planning to lower or not?

No choices for you.
Only 3mm then jump to 11mm.
Nothing in between.

So what are all the sizes of spacers available? 3mm, 11mm and then what beyond that (may want something larger than 11mm on the front).

Best,
I still havent driven the car, its the farthest in the garage but I found this pic. Im moderately lowered with the F90 M5 H&R springs- I think the rear drops 15mm. The spacer is a 12mm.

Found these too:

Damn, that looks good. Since you're on a drop, I assume that impacts how the wheels and fender line up? I have a M5 Comp that I'm not planning to lower. I guess your base M5 with a drop is just a few MM lower than my M5 Comp (since it comes with some amount of lowered springs).

Do you think I'd have similar clearance with the same 15/12 setup you are running?

Id say, you would be withing a few mm of my drop in the rear. My front is about a 1 inch drop based on some measurements taken. And when the car is lowered the wheels do camber in ever so slightly.

Vic - I really like the overall stance on your car. Are these the springs you are running?

https://ind-distribution.com/collect...ort-spring-set

If so, how much of an additional drop do you think I'd see on my M5 Comp? Maybe the rear wouldn't drop much, but the front might drop more?

Im running those springs (same part #)

Whatever the M5 CE drops the car farther than stock is what you need to see. I think its 10mm or close to that. So in my case since my fronts dropped about 30mm you would see a 20mm drop on the CE vs the stock CE set up. And because my rears dropped 15mm with the F90 springs you would see only a 5mm drop further.

What you need to confirm is the stock CE drop vs the non CE stock drop. But its around 10mm from what I remember. And no matter what the new springs eliminate the CE drop in the whole so your car would look like mine.

The Comp springs are a 7mm drop from the base M5.

Good to know. Also, I assume the springs just lower the stance...but don't affect any of the adjustability of the car? Meaning, comfort, sport, sport plus suspension settings and all the other features in the car aren't affected by the change in springs????

In short, don't matter if it CP or non.
Both cars will have the same stance after using H&R spring.
The difference between CP anf non, mainly are the spring rate and damper valving (or just programming).
Overall weight of both cars are still the same.

So is spring rate and damper valving (or programming) unaffected by the change in springs? What I don't want to happen is change some other characteristic/performance of the car (other than stance) by switching springs.
