I haven't forgot about this boys.

I appreciate all the votes, I'm working on this behind the scenes.

Waiting to hear back from BBS as they have to touch base with the higher ups.

But I've "heard" it might be a good idea to set up a deposit system if possible with a vendor. To show we are serious an can guarantee numbers/sets.

Keep everyone posted 🙏🏽💪🏽

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!

My contact assures me BBS is 99% sure they want to do these wheels.

They can't confirm as yet as they will be doing some R&D an testing.

I am told they will roll out 20's initially.
(20x10 / 20 x11)

It's too pre-mature to place deposits as they will need 3-4 months testing etc.

But am told late summer is when the sets should start rolling out.

Stay tuned on this thread as we will be arranging deposits etc. In the near future!

Congrats to everyone for showing their support.

We all made this happen!!! 🙏🏽🙌🏽👏🏽

11.5 or 12 would be better for the rear if possible? I'm thinking of 325s for the M8 - I'm not sure if they will fit on the M5 but perhaps two options for the rear would be nice.

Will keep everyone posted.

I was looking at the HRE route as well.

But I'm holding out for these!

It will happen, my friend.

We didn't want to start setting up a deposit structure etc. Until BBS is done testing an gives the green light.

No point in tying up everyone's money for no reason.

Did they give a ballpark value for the price point?

No indication on price point yet.

But I don't expect it to be far off from the 20inch variant available for the M3/M4

None as yet.

But when they make 20 I'm sure they would do 21 like they did for M3/M4 (they made 19, an 20)

I have heard back from BBS, they will be doing this wheel in 20 for starters.

but dates have not yet been set, but my guess would be late summer, early fall.

as it has to go through their R&D etc.

I will most likely be running BBS LM's until the release.

Any updates here? We’re coming up on the end of summer 2019, in short order.

The wheels are finally in development, as i am sure you know R&D takes a very long time.

That being said i am told it will be closer to end of the year.

it will most likely be 20x10 & 20x11.

I can set up a GB closer to the date if parties are still interested.

Can you tell us what “closer to the end of the year” means? BBS has been vague on the timeline this entire time. And now it seems even vaguer than it was before.

Regarding a group buy. I’m open to the concept, as I’m sure many are here. Have they discussed a discount with you?

I'm in the same boat as you....

I wanted these right out of the gate.

Had to get BBS LM to hold me over until they get released.

BBS has only updated me thus far. They are dancing around the timelines as they are not sure yet either I take it.

I'm sure if we get 10 or more sets they will start a discount. Considering "we" started the interest in this wheel.

Count me in for a set of 20s (if they don't take **too** long). I much prefer the OE 9.5 front and 10.5 rears (we need weight reduction, not more traction) - but if 10 front and 11 rears is all they will do, then that's what we'll have to take.

Thanks. I've moved in a different direction on wheels. I can't stand these Pirelli's so accelerated my decision. Super sorry
