Yes the break in service was initially.
-oil
-front diff fluid
-rear diff fluid

Now:
-oil
-rear diff fluid

If you bought your car I would do the front diff as well. Again, don’t trust BMWs service recommendations to ever be in the interest of the car but their own wallet.

My car had both read and front diff oil changes on the break in at 1250miles
