Paddle shifting in Auto

Hello all,

Tried to search on the forums and online but didn't find much. I usually drive in sport+ auto mode 95% of the time. When I downshift with the paddle shifters, the gear number before the D gets larger/bolder. It tends to hold the gear till near redline and will shift then. The gear number before the D will eventually become small again and it'll shift back normally. When the gear number is big, I can't seem to get it back to the normal small number and normal shift pattern until I stop. I tried to toggle between efficient and sport + but that didn't reset it.

Can anyone elaborate on how the paddles work in auto mode and some of the nuances? Thanks!

Hi,

When you downshift with the paddles it switch to manual (lagre number as you describe it)
It will not change to auto (small number with D) until either you drive slow or consistent speed for a while.

The faster way to get it back to auto is to push the gearshifter to the right

Pull the right paddle for 2-3 seconds and will get back to auto
