free shipping would seal the deal easily, ECS tuning has the iSweep + free shipping + lifetime replacement, even with the tax refund sale, the shipping puts it back close to original price =(

Well, I can't force you to buy from me.
They are still getting it from me regardless.

Haha sorry I didn't mean to sound any way insulting or whatnot, just was hoping for a forum deal. Will prob buy the 2000's from you since there's no ETA guarantee from them. Can you tell me if y'all have in stock ready to ship for the 2000's? cheers!

No worries. That's why I give you a forum deal with current sales code.
Yes, currently in stock.

Coupon code Spring2024.
Does this work for valve stems? I just tried it and it says Coupon is either invalid, expired or reached its usage limit!

No, it doesn't apply on low priced items.

Just ordered the IS1500. These are going to replace the Porterfield R4S that I installed around 2019. They worked great at first at reducing brake dust and brake noise but over the years the brake dust has returned which is what I want to eliminate.

r33_RGSport debating between 1500 vs 2000. Looks like 1500 has the lowest dust correct? How’s the dust on the 2000? And any impact on performance due to cold/freezing temps?

Thanks! Want to take advantage of the promo code!

Yes, 1500 is the lowest. 2000 about 10-15% more dust, but perform better on cold/freezing climate.

Great thanks for the info Ben. And the 2000 still has less dust compared to stock right?

2023 M550 (red calipers) with 4000 miles.

With so few miles, I can swap only the pads without having to replace the rotors, right?

And I assume it’s the 2NH option on the site since I have the red calipers which I believe are the performance brakes?

Under normal condition, yes, you don’t need new rotors.
But, I do recommend to check its condition. 4000 miles with bad driving habit or bad driving condition can cause bad rotors.

PM your VIN and I’ll double check the fitment.

My iSweep pads have about 70% life left, but I am considering swapping rotors soon. (I did not change the rotors last time, just installed iSweep pads about 10k miles ago). Can I use these same iSweep pads or do you suggest I get new pads too?

I would just leave it and wait until time for pads and replace both at the same time.

How does IS2000 perform in nordic countries that experience everything from hot steamy summers to ice cold blizzards with tons of road salt throughout the year?

Unfortunately I have no clue.
My guess, as long as your car s garaged during extreme cold, your initial bite will be fine.
Only if you park outside and let the rotors to be frozen, that’s when initial bite will be compromised and may squeal until rotors are warmed up.
