Upgrading the Pre-LCI tali lights with Amazon LCI versions - any good?

I'm looking to upgrade my pre-LCI tail lights with the new looking LCI versions. I've a quote from a BMW garage to do this using BMW versions for £1133.20 inc VAT fitted. I can also get plug and play versions (obviously not genuine BMW versions) on Amazon UK for £349.... The quality is obviously not going to be as good, but is this a no brainer and I should go for the BMW versions? Or should I take the chance at getting the Amazon versions and fit them myself?

Has anyone else out there tried the Amazon versions?
