Options Question

Looking at an inventory Comp that does not have full leather or the upgraded sound. It's out of town so have not seen it in person yet. Is the full leather & Bowers & Wilkins worth waiting for an ordered car? This one in particular is the only one in this color within a reasonable driving distance to make it easier on a trade in.

Thanks!

Full leather would be a deal breaker for me personally but many people feel differently. As with the sound you should test both and see what you care about. I'm a sucker so I'd order the sound even if it was just for the pretty light up speaker grills... but I'm a sucker so maybe you aren't.

I'm with you on that. These details make it feel truly special and higher-end. Keep looking until you find one you don't feel you're settling on.

Not being full leather is what bothers me the most. Haven't seen the extended in person & the car is three hours away. Probably worth waiting for the full. Sound is not as big of a deal but if I order will go with the B&W. Thanks

For me - Bowers and Wilkins is making a huge difference in looks and sounds great. Full Leather - depends on the interior colour. With black interior it is not very noticeable. Here is mine in the evening and in light. I do not have full leather:

However when you plan to go with other than black interior it is worth to add.

I had the "standard" stereo in both my previous 650 GC and now the M5.

I have listened to the premium stereo option in the current 750, and didn't think it was any better, and a bit brassy and harsh on the high end.

I've been more than satisfied with the standard stereos once you get them dialed in.

Full leather I see as mandatory on this car, it really gives you a feeling of luxury and differentiate it from other models. The BW is a must for me because I enjoy very good sound and listen to alot of music.

Absolutely agree on the full leather. It's totally worth it! It's just lovely!

Will probably end up ordering. Would like to do without the 3-4 month wait but probably better not to settle. Leaning towards MBB w/black interior & was hoping to find my spec in state to make a trade easier. Appreciate everyone's input!

I'm in the minority here but I consciously avoided full-leather because I went with a 'bright' interior color--Silverstone. It's too much, to my eye, in anything but the darker colors.

The B&W is only OK. I haven't heard the non-B&W so I can't compare the two but I suspect I'd lean toward, "don't bother with it."

Would you post some pics of your full leather setup.

The extended is a vast improvement over the F10 and, in that car, I refused to get extended... same for my F06s. But BMW have added faux stitching and chosen far better surfaces--it looks like black leather now even with the extended while eliminating the overdose of color.

Full leather looks nicer especially on center console and glove box, agree more notable with lighter colors

For this price point on a car, full leather and B&W are a must. I had the same questions back in December before placing my order...ended up going with Full leather and B&W. Took delivery last week and I'm glad I spent the extra $6900.

Appreciate the advice all, going to be placing an order. Plus I think the CCB’s might be calling my name.
