these blacklines should have been the standard rear lenses of the e90, those red-L light are terrible!

they probably will be on the coupe or convertible or the always mentioned but nerver seen 335i (335 will probably get led's also).-might as well keep the talk alive!

I got mine here, http://www.morristownbmw.com/dsp_parts.cfm but the deal I got was from ebay, which I think they are sold for now. But call them.

I finally placed an order cuz I couldn't wait any longer!! Plus thats a pretty damn good price!

I was [trying] to wait till some other tails were offered other than the blacklines, but i gave in. There are too many AW sightings in the OC now, have to make mine stand out :rocks: .

I also ordered mine today. I was waiting to see if something else came out. (maybe some led's) but I could not wait any longer. Also, I have not seen any new light offered on the 5 and it has been out for 2+ years. I can't wait until they come.

I ordered from Circle BMW as well, hopefully their waiting list isn't too long. Oh, and for those of you who are curious on final price it was $199 + $18 shipping to Socal, not bad!

thanks for your mail, it was a good idea with the picture. Don't worry about that hole. It's only for fixing a steel crane-hook to lift out the engine if it has to be replaced. You can see that on the attached picture.

Ask him the part number or atleast the last few numbers, they will probably be the Blackline ones

I looked at the march parts programme, threr are only 2 lights ( Normal and Blackline )
Next version only comes out in April, so dealer doesnt have a newer one than the one I checked

Im not trying to be against you and think it would be interesting if there were more types of lights, I just havent seen anything on official channels

Its a extra long life bulb, so would take a long time to burn out

Anyway, post pics, especially of the slot for the bulb. I still think they had to modify it

The reason that I'm so positive about it is because the first time that I went asking for blacklines, two different ones showed up. He actually asked me if I wanted the clear ones or the smoked one.

As I said before, I'm no BMW expert. This is my first bimmer and I don't know much about them.

That's why I love this site. I learn something new almost on a daily basis.
