How to install your battery tender and close hood

So I got this idea from my camaro, but it works just as well on BMW's apparently, but essentially thread the cable through the gap behind the headlight, fish it out from behind the coolant lines and it fits perfectly in the engine bay so you can close the hood and not worry about the cables getting damaged (if you're ocd like me and don't want the hood sticking up while you're gone)

Tips: don't just slam the hood, there's a little slot for the cable under the plastic piece that's part of the radiator shroud. If it's on top of the headlight like the pic, hood won't close.

I guess it depends where your electrical outlet is located in relation to the car. My outlet in the garage is on the wall above the front passenger door. I route the charger lines out through the hood near the windshield.
