x-delete
Anyone have x-delete on their G20, recently saw XHP come out with it, i know in the past, it didnt work well and people had issues with it damaging their car. But seems like the g20 can handle it. Any thoughts on anyone who has done it, im most interested in AWD sport mode, that seems like the best balance.

I have it. Seems great.
The main reason I got it was to switch to RWD only when practicing drifting on a skid pad. AWD mode would stress the transfer case too much. The xdrive version of the M340i has the same rear end / diff etc as the RWD version. So no issue. Last edited by cyam; 05-11-2024 at 03:50 PM.. |

Everything is exactly the same, just the front is properly disengaged.
Of course there are other settings, which increase the rear wheel drive bias and rely less on the front. So have total control of the xdrive system. But traction and stability control and rear diff locking systems / logic, all remain the same. Last edited by cyam; 05-11-2024 at 03:49 PM.. |

G20 RWD diff: 33108742753 G21 xDrive Rear diff: 33108686989 The product numbers of each diff are different. Would it be okay to use xdelete to run RWD mode? I wonder if the acceptable performance is different. The G20 M340ix seems to have no problems. Will there be any problems with the G21 M340ix as well? Are there any side effects that will occur because it is G21? Last edited by deviance; 05-23-2024 at 01:12 AM.. |
