M5CS Hood on LCI Comp Update

So this the fitment from the front and from the fender area where the hinges are. Body shop said a small spacer will make it perfect. All I have for now since today he painted the underside and Thursday he paints the top

Why are they painting the underside of the hood? Does it not come black like we have seen in the pictures and videos with the "CS" logo?

It's not carbon fiber. It's aluminum. So it's all raw. He didn't buy the actual CS hood.

Yep comes just black primer. Don't know if I'll like the look so didn't wanna go all out on the actual one

Hope it matches. But then again, the intersection of the fenders is so thin, even with a slight mismatch you wont see it:

That looks amazing. Gap on driver side is more than passenger, but nobody will see that.

Does look good!! I would have gone with black hood vents to match everything else. Definitely adds a sportier feel if that is what you are after.

nice. looks like they fixed the gap on the driver side.

Missed opportunity. Definitely would have gone with the painted IND roundel to rid that awful chrome bit on such a great black and white set up! haha

Lol I ordered the IND ones like 2 or 3 weeks ago. They said like 8 weeks to ship

I have the updated pictures at the main. Been a while since been back on the forms but got the Black 22 comp and had hood issues but looks good
