If you don’t drive much it probably isn’t worth it. However I drive a decent amount and it paid for itself with one repair. Even my dealer was asking me about the coverage because he never heard of it before. He was also surprised they didn’t make me pay multiple deductibles since I had 3 seperate unrelated issues. I think I got lucky with that one.
I’ve been recommending it for years and is the only reason why I would own an out of warranty bmw.

Used it on other cars in the past without an issue. They generally ask how you found out about the problem (to make sure the tech isn’t making something up) and whether you have maintenance records.

On my m3 it’s only 50 bucks every 6m. On our new x5 45e it’s 185 every 6m. Not cheap but cheaper than a bmw warranty and I don’t lose anything other than what was previously paid in premium if I sell the car early.

Only problem with Geico MBI is you’re forced to use Geico for auto insurance. They were charging me an extra $1000 every year compared to other companies. I switched companies and decided buying an extended warranty is cheaper than paying an extra $1000 every year.

Indeed. For us Geico was cheaper in general for auto so it made sense.
