Hey all - I was wondering if I could get the collective group’s thoughts on this potential deal for a 2021 M5 Competition. Black on black, just over 27k miles. Asking $82,000.Clean carfax, 1 owner, and leased from the same BMW dealer that is selling it.

Driving assistance plus package
Bowers and Wilkins

For reference I’m currently in a 2021 M550i about to turn it back in at the end of the lease - loved the car.

Just look at the maintenance history and issues. If nothing out of usual, I would in a heartbeat.

In addition, I would recommend two PPIs performed by two different competent entities that examine both software and internals, even for an off lease car from a BMW dealer.

I failed to get PPIs for mine. I guess I was lucky since mine didn’t pop for any tunes or issues on my last 2 maintenace visits. So far it has been an amazing adventure. Down side; I just became a victim of the expansion tank criminal, attempting to take my peace and happiness. Not today Lucifer… not today.

Thanks all. Though I feel strongly that this is a good deal, and was very close to pulling the trigger, I decided that a CF roof was a non negotiable for me. So will continue looking. Too much money to settle. Thanks again
