any weird supply chain missing features?

looking at picking up a new m5c. were there any features unavailable for order when the current lot cars were being made? e.g. when i ordered my wife's X5, they wouldn't let you spec a tow hitch, and some cars came without touchscreens.

I had not issues getting all the options I wanted. The B&W was in theory not offered at the beginning of the model year but is now.

Your bigger issue is you are almost certainly past the point of ordering.

I was told mine would not have the hands-free tailgate feature, but it actually does have it. Took delivery of mine on 2/8. Other than that, nothing missing.

yeah, orders closed, i'm looking at lot cars. just want to know if i need to check for omissions of things that i wouldn't expect (like touch screens). sounds like not.

Most of the things that were unavailable were for MY22 afaik. Even then it’s probably a mixed bag. People were told no B&W, wireless charging, hands free tailgate, and I think the digital key (which is from the wireless charging area so the two are probably linked). Even then some just waited or got lucky and still had these features. I think the order sheets would show deleted for all the items but B&W which is always an upgraded option.

My ‘22 doesn’t have wireless charging. Otherwise, I was able to get all of the options I wanted (though the B&W system delayed my car by 8 weeks).

For those missing the power tailgate, when was your production date? Mine (3/1/23) has it.

I have wireless charging...but it's useless since my Pixel 6xl doesn't fit.

i've never had luck with BMW's wireless charging. the one in my wife's '22 X5 just wants to melt my iPhone and barely keeps it from discharging when running carplay.

I have the wireless charging tray and I never use it. Using the cord charges so much faster.
