Hey there. Been keeping an eye out for late model 2022/23 M5 comps as my current M550 lease is up late summer. Came by this beauty for 108K. Specs out perfectly other than blue brake calipers lol. Love the fact that the warranty is still long-term and that it’s a 2023 with 6K only.

Any input/thoughts? Anyone tell me more about those wheels…looks stock. Seeing the car tomorrow. It seems a fair price given what else I’m seeing available. No chance will i spring for a new M5 hybrid.

Great color combo and well-spec’d .. can’t speak to price as I’ve not been following the market too closely.

What I will say is that the F90 is the last of a great generation of internal combustion engines and the best performing sedan we have ever seen.

Having owned 6 M5’s, the F90 has been my favorite. Perfect mix of looks, tech, AWD and reliability.

I purposely spec’d my current 22’ M5C to the max knowing I’m going to hold on to this one for a long time.

The next gen M5 may be great or it may suck .. I simply don’t know. What I know is that it will be a heavy hybrid and I’m not sure that is for me.

Good luck!!!

Frankly I'd be concerned why someone decided to chuck a car back after 6k miles and losing arguably somewhere in the 20k $ range for driving a car for 8 months. Not really something most normal people do imo.

It’s more common than we think I just helped a friend buy a 23 M8C GC, it was listed on this forum. The owner is a doctor and have multiple other cars and more on order. We had local BMW conduct a full per-purchase inspection anyway and everything checked out just fine. The owner basically let it go for the remaining amount on the loan and my friend saved 35-40K.

Some people just like changing cars.

I suppose just because I wouldn't throw away money like that doesn't mean other wouldn't lol. Idk if someone just wants to swap cars like that why even bother ordering and taking a huge hit with depreciation just get a used car drive it around for a few months sell it for close to what you bought it. But I guess to each their own, I still would be wary of close to new cars.

I figured they turned it back in because they realized they didn't spec full leather on an M5

The only thing missing is the full leather but Marina Bay is such a special color. I feel like every picture and angle of it is different, I parked it next to my friends Marina Bay X5M and it didn’t even look like the same color.

I was in getting an oil change a couple years ago. There was a gorgeous Isle of Man Green M4, used, going for 20k off MSRP. 800 miles on the clock. Dad bought the car for his 20 yr old son, who proceeded to get a 135 mph ticket. Dad said, "We're done here"

My CA tells lots of stories about people buying M cars not knowing anything about them. Many last less than a thousand miles. They take a big-time bath. And the money issue seems to barely bother them.

His other car which he bought at a similar time is an M8C. Yup, go figure.

I gotta think that people that have the money to afford these cars brand new can handle the depreciation hit.

It’s interesting because these would be the same friends of mine that would talk my ear off about not catching a specific trading window in the market yet will take a mini bath like this on what’s considered an asset though depreciation.

as well as what others have said....

Many of these ultra low mile, late model year used cars could have been dealer demo cars like the GM or owner would drive as their own for 6-12 months. Or factory demo cars. Program cars. A lot of reasons for this.

I dont mean demo from BMW, mean like some dealerships offer demo cars to their sales people and management to drive. Or could be a factory program... for instance... Not sure if they still do it, but Honda, every year or 2 would have little league demos. Honda would give them to little league of America to drive during a tournament or something, then would sell them to the dealership at a discount, but they hadn't been licensed or were ultra low miles.

There is a lot of these types of programs OEMs do.

Any interest in taking over a lease on a '23 M5C? Marina Bay/Black (full leather), every option except carbon brakes, also has the carbon pro spoiler and front lip and an extra set of M-perf 863 wheels (stock wheels have snows mounted) and an extra set of Pilot Sport 4s tires with zero miles. just under 2 years left on the lease.

Congrats. Spec’d exactly like mine but mine is 2020 (bought in July 2019). Although I only drive it every few weeks (only 11K miles on it now), I love the car.

If it doesn’t have it already, install the M Performance Exhaust - best mod on the car to date.

By the way: your link didn’t work.

Congratulations! MPE is not in the option list you shared. You may have M Sport Exhaust instead.

Maybe it’s one of those owners that trade collecting dust parked for resale.

For some resale takes priority over enjoying the car.
