AP / MCS / Foregline / MSI / SPL Part Out....

Made the hard decision to return my M4 GTS to stock and purchased a built e90 race car. As such, i'm selling the below parts, all of which have less than 5hrs on them.

This kit is exactly what i am selling configured at +$30,000 all items included, plus tax and shipping:

https://www.racewerkz.com/products/t...-for-f8x-m3-m4

a la carte pricing:
MCS 3WR shocks (track setup) - $6,850
Ground Control Camper Plates - $450
AP Radi-Cal 5000R Race Brakes Front & Rear Pads (DS3.12) - $8,500
GT4 Spec Forgeline GS1R in 18x11 Wheels (come with GTS TPMS - no tires) - $5,500
SPL Complete Suspension Package - $3,000
MSI Wheels Studs - $250
Fall Line High Wing Mount - $500
Fall Line 240iR End Plates - $150

I will part the kit out, but want to see if there is anyone interested in the entire package for an insane deal.

Located in Los Angeles - all items will be available Monday of next week. Can meet in OC. for a buyer willing to purchase the kit we can also talk about delivery as far as SF or SD.

the car will also be for sale sometime soon - it has less than 6,000 miles and has had the water injection replaced and has a 60,000 extended warranty.

Thanks everyone.

Mike, really happy with your decision.

FYI, link goes to a missing page.

The MCS 3WR are for the GTS front knuckle, correct? Do you know the price and modifications required to convert it to a standard f8x front knuckle?

That is correct, and per MCS it will cost approx $1250.

If you’re interested we can work something out.

Why am I not surprised?

MCS charges roughly the same price for their non-gts f8x adapter sleeves. I’m wondering if the dampers are first sent back to MCS for updates/changes and then sent to the new owner? The chassis weight differences exist but are not large (f87 and f8x use the same damping curves). Unsprung mass differences exist but are not large. The GTS has aero but I don’t believe it generates significant aero loading…but that’s the only difference that might require a change in LSC and HSC (control is HSC but mid-speed damping can be changed by altering HSC to provide the appropriate slopes in the 4-8 in/sec region) damping curves. Reservoir pressure is used to support aero and allow softer spring rates. The $1250 definitely gets you more than just new front strut adapter sleeves.

Sorry OP but this is info that a potential buyer may ask you.

I highly doubt it has a different setting, I think they change the entire strut, that's why the price is so high.

Interesting. They use adapter sleeves on the regular f8x so I’m surprised they’d change the entire strut body to go from f82 GTS to standard f8x. However, that’s one reason I didn’t think of. Your adapter sleeves wall thickness looks a little thicker than the standard sleeves so there must be a different reason why if this is what they are doing.

I’m open to offers on these like new MCS shocks. They are currently just sitting.

Well, that’s not cost effective. The cost of a new set of standard f8x 3WR isn’t much more expensive if strut bodies have to be replaced. I know the GTS version is almost fully threaded for sway bar mounts but a knuckle adapter still works with the bottom of the strut. I’m not seeing the reason behind this approach.
