Get your last orders in

Just spoke to my dealer and the cutoff for ordering any new m5 is going to be March apparently, so next month. Individual colors likely to not be approved the closer to the cutoff we get. Just figured I'd post in case anyone is on the fence about ordering one as it's the last pure ice m5

Catonsville in B-more. My experience with Catonsville has repeatedly been shi* due to registration, errors, and paperwork delays. Not a fan.

David is great. Dealership not so much.

Are you guys in the Baltimore area? I've been using Owings Mills for service since it's closest, but I'll be out of of CPO warranty in a couple months and will get service elsewhere.

I don't understand why dealers do this. Do they just not want to mess with it? Do they not make any money off options?

They do, there's a list of what the dealership "pays" for the option(invoice), what the msrp is and what the profit is. So technically you can get discounts on every port installed option vs retail. But yeah usually they don't wanna mess with shit or they're too lazy to even check to see what's available. Or if the computer says it's not there they just say sorry no can do instead of what our guy does which is call and bitch and ask until it gets done.

Nah I'm in the NJ area, can't help you with service since I own a shop and do everything myself.

No worries, there is an indy guy up the street. His shop has always treated me well.
I was just curious since you both mentioned Catonsville.

If micvite has confirmed this for you, you can rest assured it’s the case, and you don’t need further assurances from your CA.

Yes that's how it is, always skips a year after it's done.
