USB not supported

Anyone here with an android phone (I have a galaxy s20 ultra) when plugging into USB c port in center console the car says USB device not supported, anyone encounter this and fix it? Could it just be my cable is crappy?

While I'm here has anyone figured out how to disable the "text only available while parked" thing when trying to use the owners manual and viewing text messages and such? I know it was disabled on my f10 so I'm guessing there has to be a way to do it lol.

My android is the same and the only way I imagine you can get text on the move would be through after-market coding. I tried Carly a few months back at it wouldn't look at my car as it was too new.

Yes try a different cable. There are actually many standards within the USB-C family, even though the connectors look the same.

Not android but my IPod Nano has the same issues. Couldn’t find a USB-C OEM cable and ran into the same issue with aftermarket cables

I know this is an old post but I just ran into this.

It's only supported over wifi. USB is for not for AA/CP only for device stored audio, USB stick, etc.
