My local dealer has an M5 Comp in transit 150 status.

Should be here next month they say. I had to back out of the order so just spreading the word

You are locked out of the ability to make changes as the vehicle is on the production line already.

Though if the vehicle is actually in transit, it has technically passed 150 status. Stating that a car is 150 status, even if it’s actually at a later status, is used colloquially to convey that changes cannot be made.

Good luck with that timeframe. My M5 comp order has been at the port waiting for a boat since mid February. Almost April now and still no assigned vessel.

Im in that shipment as well. Build date was 02/07/23
Please post if you get any updates as Im on the West Coast of Canada and we don't get many timely updates
however they did text me on 03/07/23 saying my car was on the boat, expected delivery 3rd week of April.
So I doubt thats accurate if you're waiting and your car was build later than mine.
See what happens I guess

Yes, Ive tried mygarage.mybmw.com and entered my VIN number which returns an "invalid VIN" message

Should hit up your dealership and have them confirm your vin. Tell them to send you a screenshot of it.

Yes they gave me the screen cap of the VIN and I loaded it into the BMW VIN decoder which checks out to be the right car (my spec). Ive also loaded it into the myBMW app and it loads the car but as I do not own it yet, I cant activate it.

It's strange, but I'm not overly concerned about it. I'll text my salesman today.

You're in Canada, make sure you're going to whatever the Canadian website is, if you go to mygarage.bmw.com it'll error out since it's not a us car. Try this site

Still no luck using the Canadian site. Thanks for tying to help but my salesman advised me yesterday that my car is on a train from east coast headed west to Vancouver, then by truck to Vancouver Island.

They said third week of April, but crossing my fingers for mid month but never know about the port delays
