HRE Wheels, Need help with fitment, suspension

Hi Guys - Need help real quick:

I am going with 21 inch gloss black HRE's, and need to figure out the best fitment, and best springs.

I am hearing KW HAS is a bad move, but H&R is a good move, BUT, with 21 inch, I can't lower 1.2inches without rubbing.

Here is the recommended fitment:

Front: 21x10 ET23, 285/30/21
Rear: 21x11 ET29, 295/30/21

Thoughts? I want a flush look, no negative camber, and no rubbing.

Thanks!

Seems like a bit of a conservative offsets. BBS has made 21" FI-R's for the M5 F90, and they're 21x10 ET22 and 21x11 ET24. Seems like a better fitment to me.

Can you send pics of yours? That's with what suspension?

Not mine, but here's the link to the thread with the one wearing 21" FI-R's. Looks like it's on M Performance HAS suspension.

UGH, wish I didn't see this...they look amazing, but so do the HRE's. I am just worried BBS doesn't do custom fitment, because I do not want spacers. I also need gloss black.

Yes, both would look amazing.
No customization with BBS, but looking at the offsets they've chosen for the FI-R for the F90 it looks fairly aggressive with no room or need for spacers. They already have a more aggressive fitment than the recommended HRE offsets, but of course you can choose those as you like.

OP, I don't understand how 21" and H&R spring will cause it to rub?
Do you have more detail why you think it will rub?

I thought BBS didn't make an FI for the M5, did this just happen?

I have no idea if it will, I was just making an assumption, with 21 inch and super aggressive drop, it could rub when hitting bumps ?

So it's actually more than the H&R?

Hey man, thanks, these are beautiful. My only issue is, I've been obsessed with the HRE P101 for the last 7-8 years and I'm finally sucking it up and spending the $ to get them, so as much as I appreciate it and love the wheels, I have to stick with the p101.

Have you seen this thread about the BBS FI-R for the M5 F90?
I've only seen two sets so far, the black one on the black M5 I linked to earlier, and a Platinium silver set posted on Instagram by Supreme Power.

You can get more aggressive with those offsets. Forgot what mine was, but those are safe recommended specs from HRE and I worked with AutoTalent to get more aggressive. I'm also on KW coilovers with KWs front HLS lift system and dropped slightly lower then the HAAS kit with no rubbing at all.
