There’s no difference to be gained from having the M sport then resonator delete as compared to regular F90 exhaust with resonator delete ! Or there’s something else to M Sport ? Like rear muffler air software ?

Thanks
M Sport Comp resonator has less perforated internals and is louder than the base F90. That is the only mechanical exhaust difference. The program in the Comp DME is supposed to open the same valves in the same rear mufflers sooner.

An X pipe removes the resonator entirely, so zero perforations and is louder than MSport/Comp.

One seemingly stupid question

Why you guys seem sure there's nothing else but the resonator that separates the Comp from Regular M5 exhaust?

Do they share same rear mufflers PART NUMBERS?

Also what about that "early valve opening", there's no remedy for that on the Regular M5 after the Resonator delete and X pipe placement in lieu of that? Why would it matter if calves are open in Super Sports?

Forgive my sheer ignorance

We are sure because BMW defined The MSport upgrade and sells it as the MSPORT upgrade. Even marked the standard F90 exhaust cut line to install the MSPORT upgrade.

The valving program is minor. Should help with more part throttle burbles. At wot, open valves are open valves.

Actually those in previous post were before welding,
Silly me
Here's the FINAL picture
Took several hours because shop insisted on taking down the whole exhaust to do it right! Very nice shop,

Love the results!
They drove it and I watched and sounded amazing but again, damn this car is super too insulated!! With all windows done I hardly hear the exhaust still
Let me know what you think about this RESONATOR DELETE job,
