I use an adjustable one for the Civic, grips with metal teeth so can only be used on disposable canister type filters. The M5 housing is plastic. The strap type must be used on bone dry housing, any oil and it's no good. I actually added grips to mine when I was using it on my RS6. I put several zip ties around it to create barbs, that worked great. I just am disappointed that the tolerance on the M5 plastic housing vs the metal socket is so poor. Maybe if it had fewer facets it would be better? Mike

On a side note. Installed the oil cooler guard. Super easy. I did elect to multi tool away some of the plastic splash shield so it fit more flush. I do like the design and simplicity of it. Definitely found some fun scrapes under my bumper I never knew I had. Lol. Would be shocked at the amount of random debris I found while cleaning out the area behind the bumper. Glass bits, rocks, ceramic shard, sticks, leaves, more rocks, styrofoam, etc. Bottom of the cooler looked pretty good. Few small fins bent but not bad for 15000 miles.

L&R side rads Main lower central Oil cool underneath @Aronis, do you mean the main upper nostrils or the side gills on the wings? My UK 2019 Comp was the template car. At the time, Zunsport said they wouldn't do the main upper nostril grilles. I did convince them that the oil cooler guard would be a good one to have in their catalogue though |

I also had the grills out and reached down and was shocked because I found similar strange items wedged back there including the ceramic shards, styrofoam and the expected sticks/leaves/rocks. |
