I just coded out my ASD... WOW, what a difference. I love driving my M5 now. The fake sound, to my ears, was like nails on a chalk board. In fact, I never really pushed the car because the ASD made it sound like the engine was struggling. Just drove 200 miles and hauled ass pushing the car. Felt great.
Makes me wonder why BMW created such a crappy fake engine note - if you are going to make fake sound perhaps make it sound like a ferrari
