Okay, I'm sick of the constant complaining on this forum myself, but really... the VW/Skoda headlights and Honda taillights just don't look like BMW (and don't look good either). I'm sorry but I'm just not buying this "traditional L-shape taillights" explanation, this still doesn't make it look like a BMW. And I pray to God this incomprehensible black wheel trend will finally end, it makes every car look worse, I'll never understand it.

I don't know, the car as a whole just looks like a modded M5 with a few (cheap looking) aftermarket parts.

Agreed on all aspects. I simply think we are the dinosaurs/old money now, and China is the new money and next big thing. Don't think our opinion matters much now... Oh well. It is nice to have options though, especially when competition is coming around.

Will say though, nothing screamed 'aftermarket parts' like the old black Pep Boys vent on the previous gen 4-er. Lol. Damn that thing stuck out.

The King is BACK baby! Love it!

More pics of the new 810M wheels please!

Sounds like they've improved so many areas of the car that it's almost a completely different M5.

I mean, compared directly to the LCI F10 M5 4 years ago, this LCI F90 M5 is a big upgrade in a lot of areas, where I felt the Pre-LCI F90 M5 didn't justify the price compared directly to the LCI F10 M5. The Pre-LCI F90 just never appealed to me. But this LCI M5 looks like a different M5 totally compared to the F10 M5.

This LCI F90 M5 will be a nice garage car before the 1,006hp G90 M5 comes out in 3-4 years. Lol!

Just wish they would have designed a completely new and more sporty steering wheel for the LCI F90. That's my one and only criticism.

Just when I thought BMW couldn't do anything dumber than introduce those Grilles on the new 4-Series, they go and totally redeem their selves!

I feel joy and grief at the same time. I see M5 competitions nearby not even broken in offered for 90k€ while sticker was 150k€ only a few months back. And while these machines are highly desirable, they are dinosaurs from a past age which have become socially inacceptable. It's a good thing that its visceral potential doesn't show. When you buy this now, accept fast economical write-off and that's really sad!

Glad that you're thrilled, but what do you read that I can't? Just some exteriour changes, a few colors swapped and new shocks for competition. How does this make a complete new car?

I like the rear and the new front bumper but I am not digging the new lights. It looks kinda cheap like a regular 3 series. For a 6 figure car it should not look like a $40k car and at first glance at certain angles you can see the 3 series in the front. But good job on the rear. I'm happy I have a Pre Lci on order.

All in all, not a huge update, and inline with the rest of the G30 LCI.
That might be a pic issue. if you look at the BMW Video... its not listed... maybe an M8 only.. I also would assume they would of mentioned it.

I’m not in the market for one, but still...

- real shame the headlights lost the ‘twin eye’ lcd bars. Really a trademark and they looked the best of all other car brands versions. It looks too VAG now.

- I really do not like the interior with its ‘loose’ ipad thrown-on screen. The F10 had it so nicely integrated (as did the e46//e39/e38).
Just looks like an afterthought.
It does look like it doesn’t have BMW’s current new and ugly tiny central climate controls.

- do like the 4 smaller-ish and real tailpipes.

Also on the instagram video they show a frozen white LCI loaded up with m performance parts at the end... a bit much but the new bumper looks pretty good with the mperf front lip.

Ha, you're so right with the Octavia. Really similar LEDs and tiny lights/huge grille combo.

I've noticed that almost every factory wheel now is either two-tone black with polished face, or just black. No fully silver rims unless it's some poverty spec on 16's.

Blacked out everything, fake vents and exhausts, tiny dark lights and big mouths! So 2020.

Also... based on the 1st graphic I'm very confused if this car has the laser lights or not... I mean, it says LASER on the side but have also heard we don't get those in the US?

I like this one. Its great to know Bmw can still make a car without a hideous grill.

US is the only market that won't have the Laserlight option.

We have them on the M8, not sure why they wouldn't do them on the M5 in the US...

Now that the full pics are out, I think the front looks clownish. The thinner headlights combined with the taller black portion of the bumper inlets looks goofy. The prior version had better balance to the front end look. This looks more like all the other BMW clown car front ends now.

I can understand when people complain about radical changes like the giant grill but, this is not ugly looking by any means.

Change for the sake of change. Has to happen. Won’t drive or feel any different than a 2020 IMHO. I would NOT want a softer suspension in the comp. +1 steering wheel needs an update from the rest of the standard BMW line up.
