I agree with a 125k car the tips are just cheap and unpleasant to look at. It ruins the beautiful rear end of the F90. I ordered the BMS tips and they should be here today. Once I install them I'll post pictures here.

Before I got DP's I really wanted to upgraded the exhaust. One of my excuses was to get better looking tips. I'm glad I didn't do it because these BMS tips are spot on for me. They are a Day and night improvement over the OEM tips in quality and looks. BMW should be ashamed for putting this crap on this car.

Wow they do look nice! Any chance of a shot from the back, but standing further back if I ask nicely!! :O)
Would like to make sure before I pull the trigger as I need to order from the UK unless anyone knows of a UK based operation selling these? Shipping from the US can be a pain. |

Were those direct fit or did you have to do some cutting? If I remember, BMS' tips did not have the centering cutout at all (meaning you would need to either cut the OEM pin or drill a canal into the BMS ones.
I do think you need gloss black.....matte black just looks like a Mustang.

OK, yeah, they did put new pics up.
I had actually emailed them last week because the old pics they had up was just the exhaust tip pic with that small circle hole on it (I think it's the 2nd pic in the new pics). Thus, I had been assuming they then didn't have the cutouts like in the stock exhaust (because their old pics didn't have the view with the cutouts). They never replied to my email. I am assuming that little circle hole is on the opposite side of the cutouts possibly. I actually would prefer the BMS tips to be at the same depth as the stock ones.....I don't want them sticking out from the car anymore then the stock ones did (just personal preference). I am assuming you could dremel that existing cutout on the BMS tips and position the BMS tips further back (towards the mufflers....hence they would not be sticking out from behind the car), correct?

Yes, you could def do this. Keep in mind the tips are a thick piece of metal that is well built. You might have an issue getting the measurements correct. You might be better off cutting off the notch on the exhaust. If you cut off the notch on the exhaust the tips come with small screws to secure them in place anywhere on the exhaust.
