Looks like a closed setup compared to msr open filter. Those intakes sound loud. I'm waiting for awe I take or msr. 2k for intakes is kinda insane but then again we have people paying 2500 plus for downpipes cause m labeling

I hope you don't live in a country where there's fine dust particles in the Air all the time, these MSR intakes killed an F10 M5 Engine last year on this Forum, so be careful all that sound comes at a price!

I had mine for 3 years and zero issues, remember each story
Has always two versions of it 😉
Nevertheless I recommend keeping the mesh that comes with it
On for extra protection.

If you live in that kinda environment don't be an idiot and do yourself a favor and don't buy such intake and stick with stock or something different and keep your car off the Sahara sands lol.

Btw, installed mine and car is still adapting but feels much more responsive and better sound for sure. Will report back after some more adaptation. FYI, I'm keeping my pre filters on per George's advise. Doesn't hurt and actually makes the intakes way more stealthy looking behind the grilles.

The right side will be adjusted by installer.
Car has adapted and throttle response is instant and amazing.
Will make drive by videos soon as well.
As you can see I installed it with the rain and dust mesh.

Looks exactly like the install did on my F10, which is first class. Glad to hear that you are happy with George's hardware. Doing other minor mods to mine at the moment but will do the same in the near future.
