Were the tips you bought like clarkey's where the inlet pipe is smaller than the outlet? Or are the tips the same size on both ends?

I only ask because those tips are still out further than stock.....a lot of us do not want that.

MSX's tips look like they are pushed back to where the old ones were. They look more of like a rolled tip, too....like the OEM ones. Is this true? The Burger ones seem to be more blunt at the end.
yep this is true, much closer to the original location

Definitely the ones will have to be modded, as described on page 1 & 2

Thanks mate, you have been very helpful. Last question...the ones you got do NOT look like the ones in my pic below....where the one inlet part of the exhaust tip is smaller than the outside part, correct?

The ones from BMS as picture, have a smaller section, and you screw some grub screw to lock it from falling off. The pipe that is the actual exit in the exhaust for the car widens at the end, so the sleeve slips over, and the screws prevent it from sliding over the thicker part.
No mods required, but I purchased some shorter grub screw as as the ones that came with it poke out a little too much (they are about 14mm long) but only a depth of 6mm is required, then the screw is flush when tightened, effectively using them. Then I added a little thread lock to prevent any rattling loose.

Any more questions just ask. More than happy to post a little video of the fitting if it helps??

Bring up this thread, any options available now for the F90 m5's? Seems its 75mm for the stock exhaust pipe. Really like these but doesn't list it being available for the F90's https://burgertuning.com/products/bi...=3180459753496
Spent a while looking on amazing and searches trying to find something that looks half way decent that will fit.

Just threw these on this morning. Only modification was to cut the metal pin on the pipe otherwise they were sticking out more than I cared for. Got them from Bimmer Plug. $600 for the set. Come in blue black or silver.

Could you please post the dimensions of the tips, looking for something similar

Specs are 76mm and length of 120mm. I have base M5 stock exhaust and they fit.. After looking at them over the weekend, I pushed the two outside tips further in. They were sitting flush with each other but I also thought the outside tip was sitting out too far and looked weird to me. They are staggered now. Looks better in my opinion but I have seen plenty of cars with both setups so just personal preference.

How did you cut off the alignment Pins off of the inlet exhaust?

Use a grinder. Dremel can do it as well but will use up disks.

Anyone find carbon tips that fit on the LCI comp exhaust?

Found these and they say it’s a direct fit

Did you ever try these out or find one that fits the LCI comps?

Yes I did! They fit great, I had to cut off the alignment pin on the stock piping to make them work. It cuts off easily using a sawzall
