How to get glue out of carpet??

Gorrilla glue in carpet (see photo). NOT in floor matt (I wish). Any suggestions? I've tried white vinegar, acetone, paint thinner. No luck.

I would contact a company that deals with carpets. I've had mishaps like this and I've tried numerous remedies and nothing works. Tried removing a sharpie stain on my leather sofa and I tried acetone, vinegar and the kit that came with the furniture. Nada.

Get either a dedicated carpet stain remover or strong apc. Let it soak in for a few minutes and then scrub with proper carpet tool. Steam extraction should help too.

You might want to call Chicago Auto Pros to get their take on it, but you might have to let a professional like them take care of it if you don't have the right tools.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm getting the hint that this is a job for professionals. I actually used Chicago Auto Pros for tints and they did an excellent job. Will be contacting them tomorrow. Thanks again!

You can try a beard trimmer to shave it out. That's a serious suggestion btw.

Gorilla glue is hardcore stuff. Does the package suggest which solvents will work on it?

The beard trimmer suggestion is a good one. Cutting it out might be easiest option.

try goo gone, then after use a light degreaser to get rid of the oils left behind.
