Done some research, the BMW option doesn't look so great, Going with the Thinkware F800PRO. Available from Blackboxmycar for under $500

I am leaning towards Blackvue. I would like to hide it behind the rear view mirror. Thinkware appears to be larger.

Can you direct me to what you mean by "The BMW option doesn't look so great."

Thanks,

I'm going to get one but I'm confused. Like, there are so many of them and I don't want to choose a bad one. I read various article and reviews. You can see here one of them. It helps to narrow down the choice but still, there are too many options. Maybe you can recommend me one? I better trust real drivers than such websites.

I have a blackvue dr900s-2ch. It records really good only issue is when downloading a video on my phone, sometimes it loses wifi connection to my phone.

I have had BlackVue cams for many years and highly recommend them. Make sure to have a battery pack added so the cam will record when parked. Both times my cam saved me the car was parked. Burglary and hit n run.
