Halo daytime running lights
Here is a little fact I discovered today about the daytime running lights with the halos. I was sitting in from of the car wash garage door which has some glass sections and one of those sections was right in front of the headlights. So since I had nothing to do and a few minutes to kill I was playing with the lights to see what they look like in different modes. I noticed when the daytime running lights, which are halos in my case, when I turned on the indicator the lights on the same side as the indicator dimmed making the turn signal more apparent. I wonder if they do the same thing when the headlights are on at night. I guess I'll have to go face a window some night and see Lol
Anyways just an interesting tidbit I thought I'd share. |

The headlights are really good work in design and function from BMW although I am not thrilled that they are not sealed and can get condensation inside. That being said, the dimming for turn signal is pretty neat. I am just glad they don't turn off altogether when you have the turn signal on like in Audi.

just found out today that when turn signal is on, angel eyes on that side glow less bright, then I remembered this topic, so I assume that is what you are talking about when mentioning dimmed angel eyes.
