Everyone knows. That's why it's in the guilty pleasures thread.

The best part of coke is the initial gulp when you open it and the carbonation hits your throat, but after that it just makes you more thirsty.

I'm really into a fizzy water called bubbly, zero calories

I was liking Bubly last year, but then started sampling some smaller niche brands of infused seltzers up until COVID-geddon struck. I bought a tankless seltzer infuser last spring, and have been on a quest ever since to perfect the ultimate fizzy lifting drink.....

I have a soda stream and add some concentrated lemon juice: it's amazing on a hot day

I need to know more about this. I use these as mixers with vodka. I typically have been using LaCroix but haven't been loving it. I tried Spindrift and it was ok.

Considering that my Mr. Bubbles machine makes the fizz by mixing two white powders with water, that isn't really a far stretch.

If there wasn't an alleged CO2 shortage, I would pick up a huge tank and build a DIY pressure rig rather than mess with the powders in Mr. Bubbles.....

There is a CO2 shortage. I'm not sure what the main culprit was but it's hitting us hard. We're pushing orders until October. We're shutting down other plants that rely on our product.

I've noticed that some bottled seltzers (Polar in particular) have been so lacking in fizz that they should be considered flat for the past 2-3 months.

As long as there is no shortage of citric acid or baking soda, Mr. Bubbles will keep on making fizzy lifting drinks.....

It's probably Covid related, with more people staying at home doing home things more than usual. Pretty much all industries are playing a balancing act with a global change in life culture.

I have a bunch because there are too many things I could thoroughly enjoy that are bad for me lol. But Jalepeno flavored kettle chips or hot fries with an ice cold beer is probably my favorite on the salty side and oreos or homemade CC cookies with milk on the sweet side.

I eat pretty well rounded so I kinda just indulge when I please.

There is a shortage on baking soda. It takes CO2 to produce baking soda. Hundreds of tons of liquid CO2 per day as a matter of fact.

Thanks for the heads-up! I have been on the fence about picking up 50-pound pails of citric acid and baking soda, since I don't know how they will store over a few years. Guess I'll have to pick them up and find out if the supply looks like it will be constrained.....

New guilty pleasure discovered this weekend. Orange Dreamsicle Reign energy drink mixed with whipped cream flavored vodka.
