So? Sure, it the past there were racist tones about the way it was handled, but we aren't talking about blackface/whiteface here, we're just talking about an actor/actress playing a role that is different from their actual heritage.

Axius questioned white people complaining about minorities in "white" roles, yet at the same time the entertainment industry and BLM are in an uproar because a white guy was picked to play Michael Jackson.

Just to be clear, I could care less about what actor/actress plays which characters so long as they play their role well.

If the director wants Morgan Freeman to play George Washington, I'm sure he'd be great.

And the fact that this Asian guy (me) can tell the difference between black Americans vs someone who is 2nd generation Ethiopian vs other kids who have immigrant parents from Africa. Like akon. Lol

I went to an an African/French wedding and I sat with the uncles and aunts. He asked me if I ate red meat I said yes so he passed raw chunks meat. Dip it in hot sauce and eat with bread straight up raw. With beer made with honey. It was pretty good. That's drastically different from fried chicken and gumbo lol
