Ok.

I've read that whole thread before. I have the PG intake, it performs flawlessly and sounds awesome. I'm just looking for another filter option. Thanks for the help.
Ideally use AFE Power 24-91131 filter with a 6 inch velocity stack. That is the best set up with PG.

I see, thank you...you'll definitely need an aluminum joiner or alternative to make them work on the PG intake tubing.

I would buy 6 inch velocity stack.

Modengzhe 3.5-inch Neck Aluminum Bellmouth Type Velocity Stack Adapter, Car Modified Turbo Air Intake Horn Air Inlet Decorative Cover (Red) https://a.co/d/3rQ0El7

Check PG diameter I think it's 3.5. So 3.5 on pg side and 6inch filter side.

Is there a vendor on here that handles these items? Would rather deal with a vendor...

I don't think so. I bought the filters directly from aFe and just matched the velocity stack to it.

I bought the filters on the good sale from AFE and just ordered a 3.5" - 6" filter adapter from Amazon. The link to the Amazon velocity stack looks like it was a 3.5" - 6.5" adapter and did not look like a good flat surface to mount the filter side. I did like that it was aluminum and came in different colors but I don't think much, if any, of it will even be visible once mounted.

One more question. If I want to just switch out filters, is this AWE filter a direct replacement? Can I use the existing hardware to replace the PG filters? Thanks in advance for all your help.

U need a reducer from 6 inch to 3.5 I think that's why you get the velocity stack as well as velocity stack on filter side will be 6 inches and on the pg side 3.5 inches.

Does anyone have a picture of these AFE filters installed? I bought them and the 6" to 3.5" reducer and tried to install them last weekend and they were not even close to fitting. Maybe if the little outward bend of the silicone was trimmed and they stuck straight into the center they would fit but I do not see any other way. The reducer I bought did not add much, if any extra length.

GTATX -

Question for you.... What are your thoughts on the AFE Magnum DRY in lieu of the Magnum Pro 5R for use on front mount intakes?

Dry will have less air flow than pro so I would stick with pro.

When I was reading up on the AFE filters, that's the information I got as well. But I saw a video where they tested the new c8 Corvette and the AFE Dry filter produced better results than the Pro 5R?

I know it's only one horsepower but I'm just surprised they perform the same.
