Regarding the ride. OMG night and day difference. You can tell a lot of weight was removed.
following up, today got the tires swapped, now on 285 fronts and 295 back. Much much better. Fronts look perfect, backs are good but even still a little stretched, assuming that is why some have went bigger like 305 on the back. Found it interesting when suspension is up in the air when change the tires the inside rubs, these f'ers are wide lol. Attached angle photos showing the fronts and back lip. She just came down from the jack, normally its a little lower after driving it.

I am trying to help my father in law get these wheels for his M5.

Is there ANY rubbing in the front with a 285/35? Even if the steering wheel goes fully locked each way?

Also, any rubbing with a 295/35 in the rear?

What wheels widths and "normal" offsets are y'all going with?

Really awesome pictures of the Titan 7’s on your F90. How did it work out? Any issues at high speeds? Did you lower your car? I’m thinking about getting these exact wheels for mine, but I’m not going to lower the car. I just don’t want any freaking headaches. I really like the look of these wheels.

5 month backorder on these wheels. Rex Racing built me an exact set, fully forged with only 5 week lead time. PM me if you have any questions about them.

Wow. I didn’t think there was a back order on these at my dealer. I’ll text him. I guess I won’t be getting them then. Thanks for the info.

Well, your dealer might have some! When I go to Titan7 website and called them, they said 5 month backorder. Dealers might have some though, if they prestocked!

I got this email on 1-5-23

“Hi Hunter,

Thank you for your purchase with Titan 7 Wheels. We appreciate your support. Unfortunately, the item you have selected is out of stock. By checking out, you have been placed on a pre order which ships based on first come first serve basis. Since you have already pre-paid, you are on the top of the queue for the next incoming shipment. We will fulfill your order automatically and at times, wheels do come in earlier than the 2–6 week delays. Thank you and let us know if you would like to remain on the back order or would like us to refund you your order.

Thanks,”

I wonder why they didn’t tell me it would be a 5 month wait.

I hope they do come in earlier for you and please let us know if so! But, I reached out a handful of vendors that told me Titan told them it would be 5 months. I never actually spoke with Titan directly since I saw others on here had at some point. They should be listed online as backordered and not present as in stock for you to find out differently after the fact. Hopefully they would refund your money if you are inclined to cancel. I’m now looking between Rex Racing Wheels and Signature myself. Got priced $4750 shipped total price for the SV104 with 4 week lead time yesterday. Don’t want to pay that much really but. . .

The SV104 looks good to me. I considered that one, but like you, did not want to pay 1/3 more. I'd call Titan if you can reach them or email them if not for an update. Then you can decide whether you want to wait several months more than the wait for Rex or Signature. Do you need the wheels ASAP because you put snows on your stock wheels and they would need to come off in April?

I’m running Michelin AS4s now on my 706Ms so I could theoretically run it all year. I just WANT to get a summer set up going sooner than later. I also considered Dinan DC3 for the price but don’t really care for the “plain” or matte look. Maybe if I saw them on a black m5 in person I might think differently? Those SV104 or the SV107 are actually my favorite looking wheels out of all and I do like the fact they will sell a replacement for 1/2 price if I screw one up.

hoping to have my Rex wheels in 2 weeks or so. Can make a full write up and take photos on the fitment and design. Can't beat their pricing and full customization. How is Signature? I have not heard much about them before.

As for shipping lead times with Titan. I work for a tire manufacturer, and can say that at minimum, it will take 30-50 days from when the product leaves the port. Then you deal with whatever lacking times at the port to get it scanned and placed on the correct rail train to get it to the area of need.

I thought the same thing about the Dinan — they just did not look that interesting to me. But they should be high quality and the weight is light. I have heard good things about signature. Someone I know locally bought a set for his 550xi. The “replacement wheel for 50% off” is great. I have not needed a replacement wheel on a car in the past 40 years but always consider the likelihood of finding one if I needed one when buying aftermarket.

OK the plot thickens. lol!

I'm now considering the Gloss Black SV104s in 21" (instead of 20) for $5k total shipped. Or do I want the SV107s. . .

SV104 or SV107?

I like the symmetry of the SV104. I also like 20” over 21” because the ride is a little better due to the higher aspect ratio sidewall and they still handle very well. But these things are obviously personal preference and it is yours that matters.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, are you saying you have issues with rubbing on the inner aspect of the rears running an 11" et 30 with 295/35s?
